Our story

Our story began in 1989 with Zhuang Tai Xing Food Store (莊泰興食品行) in Taipei’s Dihua Street district. The first generation built a business around traditional pantry foods, bringing the care they gave their own family into their work. Through restaurant customers and the skill of their chefs, that care reached many more tables.

Growing up, the second-generation couple saw their parents work hard to build the business while still making time for family. Taking over the store, we carried forward that spirit of warmth and care, using e-commerce and new ways of serving customers to continue the family legacy.

Today, Charming Storehouse builds on food business experience dating back to 1989. Alongside retail and wholesale, we help customers explore food sourcing and customized solutions.

We bring together Taiwan suppliers and partner factories to discuss repacking, customization and contract manufacturing based on each customer’s needs. From product selection and packaging specifications to supply arrangements, we review the details together to find suitable options for restaurants, retailers and business buyers.

As the business evolves, our commitment remains the same: to bring the warmth and care of home into every product choice and partnership, helping that care reach more people’s tables.
